Meet Alex Haworth, a filmmaker and multi-media artist. With David Davis, he founded The Dada Factory, a design studio here in Salt Lake City. This is a film Alex produced in 2008; it premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. I wanted to show it to you because it's a fiction piece and I'm hoping to throw these kinds of stories into the mix.
The Deep is the study of a dystopian future through the eyes of a solitary figure. You may recognize the actor (Utahn and local favorite) David Spencer. It also features the work of installation artist Allison Baar. She's currently working and living in Los Angeles.
