As members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints prepared for their General Conference in October of 1965, rumors swept through northern Utah that busloads of Black rioters were on their way to storm Temple Square. 55 years later, we look at how the rumors started and the fear that gave them power then and now.
