Jenny Mackenzie

Jenny Mackenzie, Ph.D. is an award winning documentary filmmaker whose mission is to produce films that create and promote social change. Her films include KICK LIKE A GIRL, WHERE’S HERBIE? SUGAR BABIES, LEAD WITH LOVE and DYING IN VEIN, THE OPIATE GENERATION. Her films have aired on top broadcast channels such as HBO, VOD platforms like HULU, screened at international film festivals, and are currently being used by the US State Department to discuss public health and social justice issues around the globe. As a clinician, researcher, former non-profit administrator, and mother of three, Dr. Mackenzie also uses her professional experience, humor, and real life passion to address the power of social impact film making as teacher & motivational speaker.
